Summer session ends soon!

Summer session is ending on Tues Aug 31.  We are taking a break from group classes from Sept 1- 3.  Virtual and In-person private/duet sessions are available on Sept 1.  A great time to treat yourself.  Please email the studio for available times or request an appointment via Mindbody.


Registration for Fall Session #1- Sept 7- Oct 9

September is right around the corner and we are looking forward for this next session.  We will have a 5 week session (see note below) for in-person equipment classes and live virtual Pilates Mat and Somatic movement classes.  We have kept the shortened sessions in case more health restrictions are brought in.  We are excited that Saturday classes are returning. This includes both Pilates equipment classes and a virtual Yoga/Pilates fusion class.
If you are looking for an additional class, please send an email request to the studio. We will try to accommodate your request . Encourage a few friends who might want to join a class!

Please Note:
Monday and Thursday classes are  4 week sessions
Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday classes are  5 week sessions with the  exception for Yoga/Pilates fusion class which is 4 weeks

In-Person Equipment Classes- Max 4 participants

In-person group classes are at 8750-58 Ave Edmonton (access via stairs at NW corner of the building).  A wellness checklist declaration is neeeded before participating in each class.  Given the close proximity of staff and participants and the uptick in cases recently, please wear a mask when entering and exiting the studio and during the class if you are not double vaccinated.  Instructors will keep masks and shields on at this time.

Purchasing a 4 or 5 visit session pass provides the best value per class.  Please register in all of the sessions classes early as spaces are limited to 4 per class.  Here is link to PURCHASE a session pass or single classes (Mon and Thurs classes 4 weeks)

We will try to accommodate makeup classes for early canceled classes as we have done in the past.  Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee them and we can offer a virtual class option or virtual class recording instead.

Live Virtual classes

We are making recordings of the live classes available to anyone who registers for the class and is unable to attend the live class.   They are viewable for 7 days from class date.  We love to see your faces and catch up but if you can't attend it is a great way to keep your practice up!

Welcome our New Pilates EQ Instructors- Samantha and Vanessa

We are excited to have two new teachers joining our team this fall and hope you enjoy their classes. 

Samantha has a varied background in health and fitness and is currently completing her Kinesiology degree at the U of A while being a mom with 3 busy children!.  She has observed and studied at the studio during her Pilates certification practicum and has been filling in for Carrie this past month.  We love her energy and enthusiasm towards health and movement and we can't wait to see how she blends her background in into our classes. Ask her about background and passions.  They are amazing! She will be teaching equipment classes for us on Saturday mornings. 

Vanessa recently added a STOTT Pilates Mat work certification to her kinesiology degree and Yoga certification.  She approached us to see if we would like to have her share her kinesiology, yoga and Scoliosis knowledge in our classes. She most recently was leading a Yoga-Pilates series at a Spinal Disorders clinic here in Edmonton.  She will be teaching a 4 week VIRTUAL YOGA-PILATES FUSION Mat class on Saturday that begins on Sept 18 (4 week session).

We also wanted to let you know that Jen has secured a new job but lucky for us she will still be working a few hours per week with Pilates EQ.  Congratulations Jen!!
