Creating a Positive Change 21 Day Activity Challenge

"Your body is a temple, but only if you treat it as one" astrid alanda

The reason I joined this 21 day activity challenge was to create a positive change into my life, to make a habit of taking care of my body on a daily basis.

I have recently joined the Pilates EQ team as a marketing consultant, along side my jewelry business that I run. On top of that I have a part-time job and have recently bought my first house, so there is no shortage of work to do at home either. As you can imagine, I am a bit busy and so exercising has kind of been put on the back burner for a while.

When the ladies at Pilates EQ came up with the 21 Day Activity Challenge, I knew I had to commit to it full heartedly! I want to change how I feel inside my own skin, and felt that this was a perfect way to do so.

It is now day 11 of the challenge and I have not missed a day of activity yet! I started out with ball exercises at home, then running on the treadmill, I even had a day of weight lifting. But don't get me wrong, I had to push myself everyday to stay committed to this challenge. The first day was the toughest for me. I was dragging my feet to start working out and kept coming up with other things that had to get done first. Eventually I did workout and because I have not been physically active in so long, my asthma kicked into high gear. But as I have pushed myself to keep going, my asthma is slowly getting better.

I do enjoy being active and working out, it's great to feel the burn the next day and to see the results start to show, but it is still hard to push myself sometimes when I do not have someone cheering me on and motivating me to keep it up. This is why I am so thankful for Pilates EQ! They are encouraging me to keep going and providing me with the skills to take home and implement into my daily life.

So I am here to also cheer you on and hold you accountable to your own goals! I believe that team energy can make the hardest challenges easier to achieve and make us stronger in the end. So, when you are dragging your feet to your next workout, do as I do, think of all the Pilates EQ ladies cheering you on, working out beside you and motivating you to finish your goals!

We all believe in you!
